[rl] Harvey and Tommy

It was a long day and Harvey couldn't keep still at 'home,' couldn't keep his fingers from twitching, from flipping his coin over and over and over meaninglessly then wanting to punch a hole in the wall. He didn't know what provoked the mood, he didn't really care, all he knew was he was somehow going stir crazy and everything was too quiet, leaving too much room for thoughts and voices and cackling that wasn't really there. Everything tasted like gasoline and concrete.
So he had grabbed his hoodie and headed away, farther even, to Tommy's world because he owed the man a visit. He wanted to for some time now but things were always a whirl wind - new Gotham's and parties and Rachel, no time for the casual. He owed Tommy a visit and Tommy had told him where to go, the number of his fire station, so off he went.
He had entered without much fuss, a bunch of men very much like Tommy in nature eyeing him as he asked where Tommy Gavin was. The nervous one, some kid, ended up rambling something about an AA meeting and the place, enough for Harvey to turn heel before any questions could be asked of him.
He found the place easily enough and slipped in as some man was speaking about what he had lost and gained, leaving Harvey time to set himself against the back wall and listen quietly, glancing through the crowd for the familiar blond.
